Memorial Assistance Ministries Holds Graduation for Program Graduates
Houston Back on Track, an employer-led job recovery initiative by the Greater Houston Partnership, empowers individuals in Houston to pursue exciting new careers across various industries, including customer service, energy, medical and transportation. Thanks to our community partners, numerous programs are available to inspire Houstonians to achieve their dream careers. Recently, community partner, Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM), held a graduation honoring graduates of their Employment Certification Program and Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
MAM’s Employment Certification Training Program is a series of six workshops focusing on job search principles by identifying steps to securing a job and tips for maintaining employment. Throughout the program, participants gain essential knowledge and skills in job-seeking through various workshops. The graduation ceremony served as a platform to acknowledge the achievements of the participants and allowed them to share their key takeaways from the employment certification training.
The Certified Nursing Assistant program graduates expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the MAM team and their instructor, Dr. Vanessa Lee. The event was attended by representatives from Cintas and Buckner Parkway Place's Human Resource Manager, providing graduates with valuable networking opportunities to connect with potential employers.
